Al-Buraq E-Business Centers have been built by the Pakistan Army in Okara as part of their attempts to promote information technology as a catalyst for national development. Launched in Okara Cantonment, this program supports the Army Chief’s goal of empowering youth with e-business and e-learning skills.
With the help of their newly learned abilities, 140 pupils have been guided by the program since January 24 and have earned up to $3,000 each. Participating students have launched over 15 companies thanks to the project, and these businesses are now being connected to domestic and foreign businesses in order to continue growing.
Early findings from the Al-Buraq E-Business Center project are encouraging. The 140 new businesses founded with the help of these centers have made notable early profits, which has helped to expand the number of jobs available to young people.
