Islamabad’s legal community has stated that it is in favor of the Federal Constitutional Court’s creation and has stressed the importance of thorough judicial reforms.
The legal system is the cornerstone of any society, according to advocate Asif Irfan, a former secretary of the Islamabad Bar Association. In order to execute judicial reforms, he emphasized the significance of completely reworking the present, inefficient legal system and urged cooperation from all parties involved.
Former Islamabad Bar Association secretary and advocate Mazhar Javid applauded the Constitutional Court’s creation. He clarified that with two courts, the Constitutional Court would hear cases pertaining to politics and the constitution, while the Supreme Court would hear cases pertaining to ordinary law.
