Former emir of Jamaat-e-Islami Sirajul Haq made an impassioned appeal for international solidarity with Gaza on Monday.
Over 10,000 Palestinians are still trapped beneath the debris, according to Haq, who emphasized the catastrophic impact of the Israeli assault on the beleaguered Palestinian enclave during his speech at the National Palestine Conference.
He stated that: “16,000 children were martyred in Gaza over the past year, with thousands of bombs dropped in just 365 days.”An area as small as Gaza has had to deal with the terrifying threat of 80,000 tons of explosives.”
Haq expressed his concern about the continuous assaults on Palestinians.
He dubbed the United States the “Great Satan” and demanded that all Islamic nations unite militarily to defend Gaza. “The Muslim world needs to act now.
