EasyPaisa has refuted rumors that the central bank would prohibit accounts that aren’t connected to users’ CNIC (National Identity Card) cards or mobile phone numbers.
The central bank has not released an official declaration to bolster the company’s claims that EasyPaisa accounts are not being blocked due to this criterion.
Khurram Zia, Member Director of Net Shell Communications Private Limited, which oversees EasyPaisa’s PR, has openly refuted the allegations and called them false. He provided an official EasyPaisa statement disputing the accusations.
The corporation took to its official X and Facebook sites, clarifying that speculations of account termination and service outages are absolutely incorrect.
