Robbers attacked a passenger coach on the Indus Highway at Shikarpur, carrying passengers from Karachi to Kashmore. The attack left one person dead and five others injured. The Naperkot police station has authority over the incident.

The thieves tried to rob the passengers, according to police accounts. The motorist refused to stop, so the robbers started shooting randomly.

Ghulam Haider, one of the passengers, passed away at the site. Five more were sent to Khanpur Hospital after suffering severe injuries.

After the gunfire, the bandits fled into the surrounding farmland. To capture the culprits, police have initiated an operation in the region under the direction of SSP Shikarpur.
