When buying new or old smartphones, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has advised the public to proceed with prudence.
In order to guard against fraud and guarantee security, the PTA advises purchasing smartphones from reliable retailers and confirming the warranty.
The PTA recently issued a warning about the need for people to always buy mobile devices from reputable retailers and to make sure the phone is covered by warranty, stressing the significance of safety when doing so.
Buy phones that are packaged in boxes, make sure the box has the PTA stamp on it, and make sure the phone’s IMEI matches the box’s.
The PTA also advised people to always choose mobile gadgets that come in boxes rather than costly equipment that are sold at oddly low costs or without a warranty.
