Nearly 100 ravenous raccoons encircled the Poulsbo resident, who has been feeding the neighborhood raccoons for more than 35 years, causing her to call the police.
When the woman called the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office, she reported that although she had been feeding the raccoons for decades, the quantity of animals suddenly increased approximately six weeks ago. It is said that the raccoons constantly barrage her residence day and night, seeking food.
In a video, a sheriff’s office representative revealed that the woman had received quotes for trapping and moving raccoons worth up to $500 each. After that, she was told to get help from the Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife.
