Late on Thursday night, terrorists broke into coal mines in the Dukki district of Balochistan, killing twenty-one miners and injured six more.
The workers at a private coal mining firm, who came from different parts of Balochistan, were attacked while they were at work. In addition to using hand grenades, rocket launchers, and other weapons, the assailants also set fire to machinery and engines.
At first, seven laborers had been hurt and 20 had died. Nevertheless, a security guard who had been hurt eventually passed away from his wounds, bringing the total number of victims of the attack to 21. Ajmal, the deceased, was a resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Five of the six injured individuals have been sent to a trauma facility in Quetta as a result of the incident.
