When Kensington Palace revealed that Kate Middleton had been sent to the hospital following “planned abdominal surgery,” royal enthusiasts became concerned.
The announcement also disclosed that, in order to concentrate on her recuperation, Kate, the Princess of Wales, has postponed all of her royal obligations until Easter.
According to a recent GB News article, the mother of three is reportedly “doing well” while recuperating at The London Clinic.
The Palace released a statement stating that Kate will stay at the hospital for 14 days and then return home to resume her recuperation.
While Kate’s illness is “quite serious,” Michael Cole, a royal writer, asserted that it is not a “trivial matter.”
Although the expert stated that Kate is “young, vigorous, and very fit,” the news is “obviously quite serious” and “not a trivial matter.”
“Much more than one might have anticipated on another occasion, she has very assiduously added in that quite full statement from Kensington Palace,” he told GB News.
“After that, there will be a lengthy hospital stay because people are now expected to leave the hospital as quickly as possible and get back on their feet.
The specialist continued, “So that also does indicate the seriousness of the nature of whatever it is that is ailing her.”
