In the Sikandarabad neighborhood of Shujabad, a ninth-grade student was the victim of sexual assault.
A man named Tahir allegedly kidnapped the girl at gunpoint, took her to a desolate location, and attacked her, according to the First Information Report (FIR). Her shouts were heard by locals, who made the attacker run away.
After being transported to a civil hospital in serious condition, the victim’s sexual assault was confirmed by an initial medical report.
Tahir has been charged with a crime, and in an effort to capture him, authorities are raiding locations and conducting additional investigations.
