After Pakistan’s disheartening loss in the first Test in Multan, former captain Mohammad Hafeez voiced hope on Tuesday that Pakistan’s plan will succeed in recovering and securing a favorable conclusion against England.
Hafeez stated in a post on X that the Pakistani squad was trying to figure out a way to win the Test match at home by using four spinners on a pitch that had already been used.
“Team management is hoping for a square turner when they play with four spinners. I’m hoping that Pakistan would benefit from this strategy,” he tweeted.
In cricket, a pitch that assists the ball in producing a lot of spin and turn is known as a square turner.
The former cricket player provided the playing XI for Pakistan.
