After a small quarrel, a brother and sister are said to have taken poison pills, which caused their deaths.
The terrible event happened in Gujranwala’s Qila Dedar Singh neighborhood.
According to police reports, the deceased’s relatives released a written statement in which they disclosed that Aasia, 35, was living with her parents after getting divorced five years earlier.
After a recent argument, Aasia’s younger brother said something nasty about her divorce. This wounded Aasia a lot and prompted her take the poison tablets.
Witnesses stated that the brother took a tablet for himself after witnessing his sister take one. Even though they were hurried to the hospital, both siblings unfortunately died before receiving care.
