ISLAMABAD: As part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit hosted by Islamabad, Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar on Wednesday expressed gratitude to the government, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister, and his Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar for their “hospitality and courtesies.”
Jaishankar was the first foreign minister of the neighboring country to visit Pakistan in almost ten years, and he was present during the SCO moot that was held in Islamabad.
Jaishankar posted on his X Twitter a few hours after the two-day regional meeting ended, saying, “Leaving Islamabad.” We are grateful for the hospitality and courtesies extended by PM @CMShehbaz, DPM & FM @MIshaqDar50, and the Government of Pakistan.
