As part of a crackdown on illicit activity, the Jeddah municipality closed a sizable naswar production and seized 217 kg of the product.
According to reports, the naswar was ready to be sold in nearby marketplaces.
Numerous foreign nationals were taken into custody during the operation.
Authorities discovered that these people were producing flavored shisha in addition to turning their home into a naswar production factory.
