A guy has been taken into custody by Karachi police on suspicion of killing his pregnant wife in Shah Faisal Colony.
Laila, the victim, was allegedly three months pregnant.
Family members claim that Laila suffered a neck stabbing. According to her father, Laila and Abdullah, the accused, got married in June 2024 out of love and shared a call center job.
He said that although Abdullah had told him that Laila had cut her hand, he discovered her dead with a slit throat when he got to the hospital.
Laila’s sister claimed that her sister had experienced domestic abuse at the hands of her spouse.
Police are looking into the event and have filed a case. We’re waiting on a post-mortem report to find out the precise cause of death.
