LAHORE: In a video broadcast on X (previously Twitter) on August 1, Colonel (retired) Abid Latif, director of public relations of the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA), boldly declared that his most recent project was nothing less than a “piece of heaven” on earth.
Chahar Bagh, a posh home complex that stretches along the banks of the Ravi River, is that so-called “heaven.” It is currently 70% finished and promises a variety of high-end condominiums, mid-rise apartments, tall skyscrapers, and villas.
