On Tuesday night, thieves in Karachi’s Ahsanabad neighborhood, close to the Site Superhighway, shot and killed a young man.
According to reports, Farhan Khan, a father of a small daughter and employee of a medical company, was having financial difficulties.
Family relatives claim that Khan raised money for his ailing daughter’s medical care by selling his wife’s jewels. When he refused, the robbers opened fire, attacking and killing him as he was carrying the money home. The money was taken by the robbers and fled.
Khan’s family has been devastated by the tragedy. They have expressed dissatisfaction that the police have not yet been in touch with them or started looking into the murder.
