In separate messages, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed solidarity with the Kashmiris as they commemorate the ‘Black Day’ in protest of India’s illegal occupation of the region. They pledged their unwavering support until the inalienable right to self-determination is achieved.
Pakistan would remain side by side with its Kashmiri brothers and sisters till the Kashmir problem is finally resolved and Kashmir is free, President Zardari declared.
In the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), the president called on the international community to put pressure on India to stop violating human rights, ease the suffering of Kashmiris, and carry out UN Security Council (UNSC) policies.
Additionally, he underlined Pakistan’s steadfast moral, diplomatic, and political commitments and denounced India’s continued crimes in the unjustly occupied region.
