When Mike Leslie of the WFAA posted something criticizing the football player’s performance on a play that saw George Kittle rush the ball within inches of the end zone in the third quarter, Diggs took offense.
What did you learn from that? Diggs inquired. “That’s what you took away from the entire play? You’re not familiar with football. Nothing I do can be done by you. Going out there and doing nothing is not an option. Buddy, stay in your lane. “Dawg, stop trying me.”
During an appearance on teammate Micah Parsons’ podcast, Diggs reiterated his position, but acknowledged that he allowed his feelings to control him at the time.
I simply thought it wasn’t required. Diggs added, “It seemed like he was attempting to use my name for clicks.” “I happened to see [the message] after the game. I glanced at it, clicked on it, and saw who it was. I thought, ‘Oh, he’s straight here. I just happened to see you. I approached him and just expressed my feelings.
