Rodri was selected player of the tournament when Spain won Euro 2024 and played a key role in City’s May Premier League title win.
After apparently finding out that Vinicius, the obvious favorite for the prize, had lost, Real Madrid decided not to attend the ceremony.
“It’s okay if they [Real Madrid] wish to leave. “It’s okay if they don’t,” Guardiola, the former manager of Barcelona, stated.
“It’s okay if people wish to offer congratulations. It’s okay if they choose not to offer congratulations.
It’s remarkable if you place in the top two or three [places]. It indicates that you have had an amazing year and should be really happy.
