LONDON/OXFORD: Renowned rock star and education reforms advocate Shehzad Roy announced that the University of Oxford and the Malala Fund have inked a historic agreement to assist Pakistani non-governmental organization Durbeen in educating teacher-educators in Pakistan through a program that is the first of its kind in South Asia.
During an interview at the London university, Roy expressed gratitude to Malala Yousufzai, the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, for her efforts in establishing the collaboration.
He clarified that the goal of Oxford and Durbeen’s partnership has been to create the MS program’s curriculum in order to train the faculty members who will eventually instruct the BEd program in Pakistan’s Teacher Training Institutions.
Language, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science, and Education Psychology are the five specialization tracks available in the MS program.
