Memorandums of Understanding on “Mutual Exemption of Entry Visa Requirements” and “Establishment of a Joint Task Force to Promote Investments” were signed by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as a new step to strengthen bilateral ties.
The Foreign Office said in a statement on Wednesday that the brotherly nations also inked a Memorandum of Understanding for joint cooperation on “Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy” during the 12th session of the Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC), which was held in Abu Dhabi on June 24.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and UAE Deputy Premier and Foreign Affairs Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan co-chaired the JMC session, which was conducted after a 12-year break.
