Barrister Mohammad Ali Saif, the adviser to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Information, has reaffirmed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) pledge to restore democratic norms in the nation through an agreement with all important stakeholders. He acknowledges the former ruling party’s contacts with the nation’s establishment in order to “restore democracy to its rightful course.”
The adviser stated, “The PTI is in contact with those who can help steer democracy back on its path,” during an appearance on News’ Naya Pakistan show on Friday.
He emphasized that the former ruling party did not want to make a “deal” but rather to build a common understanding with all parties involved, including the establishment.
