After Quincy Jones passed away at the age of 91, Oprah Winfrey is paying a moving homage to him.
The 70-year-old host and actress shared a vintage photo of herself with Quincy on her Instagram account, noting that the music producer had a “so filled with love” heart.
She credited Quincy with “changing her life” when he got her a part in the 1985 movie adaption of The Colour Purple.
“My dear Q. The most adored Q in the world. On a photo-sharing app, Oprah commented, “The one and only Quincy Jones “found” me for the 1985 film “The Color Purple.”
“After meeting him, my life took a permanent turn for the better,” she added. “I had never met someone whose heart was so full of love, and I never have since.”
