Star of Top Gun: Maverick, Barbaro talked to Entertainment Weekly about the odd counsel she got in her early career.
She disclosed that she was previously advised to cut her lengthy eyelashes by a makeup professional.
The strangest advice I’ve ever received was related to the first commercial I ever shot, as I recalled the other day. My eyelashes were quite long, and the woman who was doing my cosmetics advised me to cut them. That’s not how I interpreted it. “Oh, okay,” Barbaro recounted, “I mean, I was just like that.”
“And then I was like, ‘I’m not going to do that,'” the actress continued.
