In the second game of the three-match series against Australia at Adelaide Oval on Friday, right-arm fast bowler Haris Rauf and captain Mohammad Rizwan achieved significant One-Day International (ODI) milestones.
Following his fifer against the Kangaroos, Rauf has now claimed 77 wickets total, the most of any Pakistani bowler in his first 39 ODIs. He has overtaken veteran spinner Saqlain Mushtaq and pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi, who each took 76 wickets in their first 39 One-Day Internationals.
It should be mentioned that Mitchell Starc of Australia had taken 79 wickets in his first 39 One-Day Internationals.
Since his ODI debut on October 30, 2020, the Pakistani fast bowler has taken 77 wickets, the most of any fast bowler in history.
