The funeral service for Liam Payne took place at Amersham, Buckinghamshire, which is northwest of London. Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik, his former bandmates from One Direction, are seen in new pictures attending the solemn service.
Harry and his friend and TV personality James Corden pulled up to the chapel in a BMW and went straight inside. Zayn, wearing black, joined his old comrades as well. Louis clutched the order of service and seemed genuinely worried. Simon Cowell, a judge on X Factor, went with Lauren Silverman, his fiancée. There were also Liam’s ex-partner Cheryl, with whom he had a son, and his girlfriend Kate Cassidy.
In a white horse-drawn carriage, Liam’s casket was transported to the church. The hearse bore touching notes, such as “son” and “daddy,” along with floral tributes.
