The National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) announced that starting Friday night, at least six motorway segments would be blocked for “maintenance.”
In a Facebook post, the company stated, “The following motorways will remain closed starting at 8:00 PM on November 22 due to road maintenance.”
M-1: Peshawar to Islamabad
M-2: Lahore to Islamabad
M-3: Abdul Hakeem to Lahore
M-4: Multan to Pindi Bhattian
M-14: Yarik to Hakla
M-11: Sialkot to Lahore
The NHMP has asked the public to refrain from needless travel while expressing regret for the inconvenience.
