Due to security measures, the Karachi Traffic Police have declared temporary road closures and detours on Sharea Faisal and other important thoroughfares.
Between November 22 and 23, these measures will be in place from 2 a.m. to 5 a.m.
Airport traffic will not be permitted to travel towards Karsaz Road or Stadium, the traffic police have stated. Likewise, cars arriving from Nursery won’t be allowed to drive to the airport or Karsaz.
There will be restrictions on traffic going from University Road to Stadium Road, Expo Center Road, or Sir Shah Suleman Road. Additionally, the roads leading to Aga Khan Hospital from Newtown and University Road will stay closed.
It is recommended that commuters from Hassan Square and Liaquatabad No. 10 take the Nipa and Rashid Minhas Roads instead.
