The All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association said that the price of 24-karat per tola gold dropped by an additional Rs4,300, selling for Rs278,400 on Monday as opposed to Rs182,700 on Friday.
In addition, the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold dropped by Rs3,657 from Rs242,370 to Rs238,683, while the price of 10-gram 22-karat gold dropped from Rs222,172 to Rs218,793.
While the price of 10-gram silver fell by Rs42.87 to Rs2,914.95, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs50 to Rs3,400.
The group also noted that the price of gold rose $43 to $2,672 from $2,715 on the global market.
