Although Boris Epshteyn is probably not well-known, he is a very important person to people who follow Donald Trump and those close to him.
Seven years ago, he was a special assistant to the then-president in the Trump White House, helping to manage the Republican’s TV surrogate business, before departing for unspecified reasons. After that, Epshteyn became an on-air pundit for the Sinclair Broadcasting Group. (Do you recall the “Bottom Line with Boris” parts?)
Epshteyn eventually returned to Trump’s team in the next years, and he was even one of the Republicans charged with participating in the phony election fraud. The New York Times featured Epshteyn two weeks ago, highlighting his significant contribution as a member.
