LONDON: The family of a Pakistani national who was slain in a land dispute abroad has urged Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif to personally look into the issue because the police officers looking into it have been charged with conspiring with the murderers.
On August 28, 2023, Khurram Shabir, whose family lives in London and Paris, was shot and killed on their ancestral land close to Jinnah Colony, Fatehpur, Sarai Alamgir, in front of Raja Muhammad Raheel, his brother Muhammad Adnan, nephew Usama Nisar, and another nephew Khurram Shabbir.
According to the family living abroad, Shabbir was killed when the accused, brandishing a gun, attacked them.
