It has been claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are taken aback by Queen Elizabeth II’s recent response to Lilibet’s name.
Even though the late Queen approved of her daughter’s name, the Duchess of Sussex is taken aback by her response.
Robert Hardman, a royal author, claims that the Queen informed her advisers, “I don’t own the palaces.” The artworks are not mine; the only thing I possess is my name. And they’ve already taken that.”
However, an insider claims that the Sussexes were caught aback by the information and insisted that they had talked with Her Majesty and obtained consent.
“Meghan and Harry 100% received permission from the Queen to use the name Lilibet,” a source said. The report is untrue.
“They are unaware of the source of this. They find it surprising that this is happening now since it is unexpected and unanticipated. They simply believe that the ongoing campaign of defamation against them is continuing.
They believe it is appropriate that this is coming to light at this time, since the Queen is unable to defend herself and declare what is true or untrue.
