By repeating phrases etched on bullet casings discovered at the scene of the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, a woman has been accused of threatening a health insurance firm.
“Delay, deny, depose, you people are next” is allegedly what 42-year-old Briana Boston said on a taped conversation with a Blue Cross Blue Shield agent over a medical claim that was rejected.
Ms. Boston, a native of Florida, was accused of threatening to carry out an act of terrorism or a mass massacre. Her bond was set by a court at $100,000 (£78,900).
According to local media, officers from Lakeland, Florida, showed up at Ms. Boston’s house and took her into custody after the phone conversation with the US healthcare organization on Tuesday.
