During the Mavericks-Suns game in Dallas on Wednesday night, Luka Doncic lost his cool with a fan.
Arizona Central claims that Doncic was heckled by a Suns fan, who told him to “get your a– on the treadmill.”
In game footage, Doncic appears to point to security while staring down the fan and demanding that they be ejected.
Shortly after, the fan—who was sporting a Devin Booker jersey—left.
When Doncic was questioned about the reason behind his outburst against the Suns fan following the game, he got into an argument with ESPN NBA writer Tim McMahon.
“That wasn’t the only thing (the fan) said, but I knew you would be the first one to put out something like that,” Doncic replied. It’s merely humorous. You always appear to be the first to publicly criticize me.”
McMahon answered, shocked.
To begin with, Luka, the majority of what I have written about you has been positive. The man was seated two rows behind us, to start with.”
“Put out something you just don’t [say],” Doncic said, adding that he was “cursing [at] me the whole first half.”
Haley Cameron experienced a “mental breakdown” following criticism for dating a Cowboys player.
“I would never kick out a fan. They cover the cost of the tickets. However, I’m a little frustrated and I’ve had enough,” Doncic remarked.
Doncic added a joke about how journalists “picked the bad guy in the media” in order to pose difficult queries. However, he denied feeling that he has been unfairly represented in the media when questioned about it.
