Karachi: According to data, thieves preferred 70cc bikes in 2024, while snatchers preferred 125cc bikes.

According to data from CPLC, there were 10,000 fewer cars stolen or snatched in Karachi this year.

According to The News, the year 2024 performed better than 2023 in Karachi in terms of car theft and robbery, with 10,000 fewer automobiles being taken or stolen.

In terms of snatchings, robbers favored 125cc motorbikes, whereas motorcycle thieves mostly preferred stealing 70cc motorcycles, according to data on stolen and snatched motorcycles in 2024. This is an interesting trend.

According to data from Shabbar Malik, Deputy Chief of Operation for the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC), there were 10,000 fewer cars stolen or abducted in Karachi in 2024 than in 2023.
