Malala Yousafzai, the youngest Nobel laureate in history, will go to Pakistan as a special guest to attend the two-day international conference on girls’ education in Islamabad.
The activist will return home after attending the meeting, which is set for January 11 and 12, according to Education Secretary Mohyuddin Ahmad Wani.
The goal of the conference “Girls’ Education in Muslim Communities: Challenges and Opportunities” is to discuss the opportunities and problems associated with improving girls’ education in Muslim communities around the world, promote discussion, and identify workable solutions to the problems.
The official announcement claims that the conference will also offer a perfect setting for high-level conversations and partnerships.
