ISLAMABAD: The government negotiation team’s spokesperson, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, chastised the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for not putting its demands in paper, even though it had pledged to do so.
In an interview with Geo News, Siddiqui pointed out that PTI had promised to make formal requests on December 23 but had not yet done so 22 days later.
Siddiqui stated: “Demands have not been submitted after 22 days, despite a December 23 promise that they would be presented in writing.” It is not our responsibility if they were unable to meet their requests at this time.
Siddiqui emphasized that no written demands have been received despite the negotiation group being established on December 5.
