The Financial Times listed Pakistan as one of the top 50 destinations for vacationers, citing the country’s breathtaking mountain landscapes and better security as major factors.
The most picturesque part of Pakistan, Gilgit Baltistan, was chosen by the UK-based newspaper as a destination worth seeing in 2025.
“Northern Pakistan boasts some of the world’s most dramatic mountain scenery, and an improved security situation, easier access and better accommodation options mean that more visitors are discovering it,” the Financial Times reported.
According to the article, in August 2024, Pakistan started providing online visas for nationals of over 120 countries. Gateways also offers a 14-day guided group tour, it was added.
