According to reliable sources on Wednesday, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), has received an invitation to attend the inaugural ceremony of US President-elect Donald Trump on January 20 in his individual capacity.
In the next days, the PPP chairman would travel to Washington to witness President-elect Trump’s inauguration.
In addition to Bilawal, the US president-elect invited Xi Jinping, the president of China, and other world leaders to Washington for his inauguration.
It’s important to note that current President and PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari was present at the pre-inauguration swearing-in event for then-US President-elect Trump in Washington, DC, in 2017.
PPP leaders Sherry Rehman and Rehman Malik (late) were with Zardari.
Trump will take the oath of office as president on November 5 after winning the election by a wide margin.
