HANGU: The district administration said on Wednesday that another relief convoy, this time containing food and other essential supplies, had been sent to Kurram from the Torpul check-post in Tal.
According to the officials, the convoy was made up of forty-five trucks carrying cargo.
Earlier in the day, another shipment of 16 trucks was dispatched to the area affected by the crisis, according to District Police Officer Muhammad Khalid.
DPO Khalid verified that 61 lorries bringing food supplies had entered Kurram district today.
He stated that in order to guarantee the safe and efficient transportation of products, Kohat Commissioner and Kohat Regional Police Officer Abbas Majeed were keeping a careful eye on the commodities supply operation.
Although violence has plagued Kurram for decades, a recent wave of attacks has claimed about 150 lives.
