Fans and former players criticized the Pakistani cricket team on Monday for their lackluster performance, which led to a 120-run loss to the West Indies in the second and final Test match, tying the series.
Sikandar Bakht and former wicketkeeper-batter Rashid Latif have criticized the team for giving the Windies their first Test victory in Pakistan in 35 years—their last victory was in 1990.
Bakht recently questioned the plan of playing solely spinners and criticized Pakistan for relying too heavily on the spin bowling attack during the two-match Test series. He maintained that “no team can win by playing with just one approach; variation is necessary” .
