Seven people have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the killing of Sarim, a seven-year-old kid who was raped and then slain in the port city’s North Karachi neighborhood.
Three watchmen, two inhabitants of the victim’s apartment complex, a plumber, and a cleric from the madrassa where Sarim was a student are among the suspects, according to the investigating authorities.
None of the suspects’ DNA reports have been received yet, according to the investigating authorities, and they stated that more action will be done once they are obtained.
After going missing on January 7, the young man was discovered dead in the subterranean water tank of his North Karachi residence on January 18.
