KARACHI: The Civil Courts (Amendment) Bill and the Universities and Institutes Laws (Amendment) Bill, which had been returned by the governor with his comments, were accepted by the Sindh cabinet on Saturday along with changes to the upper age limit regulations for government posts, according to The News.
The Sindh Civil Servants (Relaxation of Upper Age Limit) Rules were approved by the cabinet meeting, which was chaired by Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at the CM House. This allowed for considerable age relaxations for applicants for government jobs.
The relevant administrative offices will grant up to five years of relaxation to government employees who have worked continuously for two years. The administrative department will provide general candidates a relaxation period of up to two years and a maximum of five years.
