PARACHINAR: According to authorities, at least one truck driver was killed and fifteen others were injured in Monday’s attack on an aid convoy traveling from Thall to Kurram near the Ochit neighborhood of Lower Kurram.
They stated that a police officer and four truck drivers were among the injured.
64 trucks made up the convoy, which was traveling to Kurram district when unknown attackers started shooting. As a precaution after the attack, authorities chose to return the convoy to Hangu.
The convoy was attacked in several places, including Bagan, Ochit, Mandori, Dad Kamar, and Char Khel, and one of the truck drivers who was hurt passed away from his injuries, according to the police, who also stated that security had been increased in the area.
