The admission of “murder” by Latif Akash, the foster son of Dr. Akash Ansari, a well-known Sindhi poet who was allegedly burned to death at his home, is a significant development in the case.
The leading suspect killed Dr. Akash before burning his room, according to the investigating officer, who made the information public on Monday. He stated that authorities are currently awaiting forensic and post-mortem reports after gathering all pertinent data.
While the police await a post-mortem report and forensics results, the officer also said that Latif had undergone DNA testing.
Latif was a heroin addict who regularly sought money from his foster parent, according to the investigative official.
