KARACHI: In anticipation of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the Pakistan Cricket Board has installed photo walls at each of its four locations, honoring the nation’s cricketing legacy and significant events throughout its history, a PCB official announced on Sunday.
Portraits of Karachi’s famous cricket players and significant occasions associated with the stadium are displayed on a photo wall at the National Stadium in Karachi. The wall, which also includes pictures of Pakistan’s Under-19 World Cup wins and the 2017 Champions Trophy victory under his direction, prominently displays former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed.
The wall features significant turning points, including Younis Khan’s triple century at the National Stadium, Naseem-ul-Ghani’s century at Lord’s in 1962, and Khalid Ibadullah’s first century for Pakistan at the National Stadium in 1958–59.
