In relation to a case concerning violence against police during a Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protest that took place in Lahore on October 5, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur on Tuesday.
Three additional PTI leaders, Shehbaz Ahmed, Saeed Sindhu, and Hammad Azhar, were also given arrest warrants by the ATC for not cooperating with the inquiry in spite of numerous police summonses.
According to police, the people listed were wanted in connection with the October 5 rally last year, when PTI members allegedly attacked police officers.
