After six games, Lahore Qalandars has had a mixed season with three victories and three defeats. They come into this match fresh off a five-wicket triumph over the Multan Sultans, as they successfully chased down 186 with one over remaining.
The league leaders, Islamabad United, have won all five of their games in a row and are in dominant form. They easily chased down 169 in just 17.1 overs against the Multan Sultans, their most recent victory.
With ten victories versus Lahore, Islamabad United has a slim lead in the overall head-to-head record.
