Security officials said Wednesday that three children were killed in Indian missile assaults on civilian settlements in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK): a university student, her younger brother, and the 7-year-old son of a Pakistan Army commander.

Following missile strikes by New Delhi, Pakistan’s military destroyed a brigade headquarters, including multiple checkpoints, and shot down five Indian Air Force (IAF) jets and a combat drone in a devastating reaction to Indian aggression.

According to DG ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, 31 innocent civilians were killed and 57 others were injured in India’s assault on many Pakistani cities.
